About KEYTIME®

Meeting A Universal Need
Established to meet the need for a more effective and efficient way to teach touch-typing, KEYTIME has become a recognized expert through experience, research projects and anecdotal data. KEYTIME was established in 1987 by Linda Lewis, then a computer teaching specialist with Seattle schools. Applying an in-depth understanding of scientific learning theory, Ms. Lewis developed the KEYTIME method, which enables students to learn key locations in just one hour and then rapidly increase their skills for speed and accuracy.

KEYTIME-A Faster Method
Because it enables learners to become productive much faster than traditional training methods, the KEYTIME program is used in businesses, homes, and in public and private schools throughout the United States and the world.

KEYTIME is one of the only companies in the world to teach touch-typing on alternative keyboard layouts, in addition to the standard Qwerty keyboard layout.

Ms. Lewis and KEYTIME have been instrumental in making alternative keyboards available to the general public by working as an advisor to the ANSI Standards Board and working with Microsoft to incorporate the alternative layouts in both DOS and Windows platforms.
