Be A Hyper-Typer

Who Needs A Century-Old Speed Limit?

Look at the keys above the fingers of your left hand as you prepare to type. The letters spell QWERTY. They might as well read SLOW.... the standard arrangement on computers and typewriters was designed to PREVENT fast typing. Fast typing jammed keys on old machines. We have new machines, but we seem stuck with a hundred year old speed limit.

Leave that speed limit behind in a few hours by changing to the DVORAK keyboard layout, designed in 1932 by August Dvorak. With the most commonly used keys in the center, close to 5000 words can be typed on just the home row! This decreases finger travel and errors by over 50%.

Dvorak - An Available, Easy-to-Learn Performance Booster
DVORAK’s improved layout is faster and easier to learn and reduces fatigue and stress. Record speeds of 225 wpm have been set on Dvorak, blowing away the QWERTY record of 180 wpm. The Dvorak layout is available on your present computer keyboard.
