To convert to Dvorak keyboard in Windows 95, 98 & 2000:
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Keyboards>Language>Properties>Dvorak
Toggle between Dvorak and QWERTY on the task bar
To convert to Dvorak keyboard in Windows XP:
Go to Control Panel. Place into Classic View. Go to Regional and Language. Go to Languages. Then choose Details. Pick add. Choose US Dvorak under Keyboard Layout/IME (for single right or single left, choose the appropriate layout). Click Apply, then Okay, and you're done. A small keyboard will appear on your task bar. Click on it to toggle between QWERTY and Dvorak. If you want it to Dvorak to be your default keyboard, Choose Default Input Language: United States - Dvorak.
To convert to Dvorak keyboard in Windows Vista:
Go to "Regional and Language Options" in the control panel, or you can launch intl.cpl from the start menu.
1. Launch Intl.cpl.
2. Select "Keyboard and Languages" tab.
3. Press "Change keyboards..." button.
4. Press "Add..." button on General tab of Text Services and Input
Languages dialog box.
5. Find "English (United States)" and check the Dvorak keyboard layout
you need.
You can also create your custom layout using the Microsoft Keyboard
Layout Creator, too, if needed.
